
Built in 1936 and used until 1940, the Hotchkiss-35 was a light infantry tank
which used a short-barreled 37mm gun as well as a machine gun. It had weak-to-
average hull armor and stronger armor on its covered turret, and had slightly
more speed than the R-35 light tank. Its 37mm gun was sufficient to defeat 
most German light tanks.
