Like the Pz-II which was the main battle tank for the German Army during the
Polish campaign, the Pz-IIf had better speed. It also had a 20mm anti-tank
cannon which was sufficient to take out most light tanks during the early
war years. The Pz-IIf armor was thin and vulnerable to most anti-tank
guns. Just over a thousand of these tanks were made, and some continued
service as scout tanks as late as 1943.
