 
Flown for most of the war, the B-26 Marauder was a twin-engine, mid-wing
bomber, and was the first American bomber with a powered gun turret. From
November, 1940, to April, 1945, several nations flew the B-26. For armament,
it mounted up to twelve .50 caliber machine guns, and its internal bomb bay
could hold up to 4,000lbs of bombs.
