Hello, everyone! It's very rare for anime game to make it outside Japan. Unfortunately most of the time localisation happens at a cost of original VO. I strongly disagree with companies (especially Atlus) stating that "original VOs are for minority". While "original VO advocates/anime fans" may be in minority in relation to the whole world (which could be disputed as the recent years have seen an anime boom), the main audience that supports these companies consists of "anime minority". The companies are simply justifing their greed. They try to make as much money as possible by butchering VOs to appeal to, as they call them,"casual fans". But these "casual fans" for the most part have no real interest in japanese stuff. More so, they look down on it and lousy dubs just serve to strengthen their disdain. If companies had put a little more thought in their scam, they could've just abandoned the dubbing process to cut the production cost and would've made more profit as a result. But if their noble goal is indeed to educate "casual fans" to japanese culture - even more reason to leave VOs untouched. No sense in learning things backwards. ---------------------------------------------------------------- My undubs so far: NGC: [GC] Megaman X Command Mission [GC] Rave Master [GC] Skies of Arcadia Legends * [GC] Virtua Quest PS2: [PS2] Baroque [PS2] Drakengard 2 [PS2] Rumble Roses [PS2] Samurai Champloo [PS2] Steambot Chronicles Xbox 360 (JTAG): [X360] Catherine [X360] DW Gundam 2 [X360] DW Gundam 3 ** [X360] Ninety-Nine Nights [X360] Phantasy Star Universe [X360] Rumble Roses XX [X360] Sonic the Hedgehog ---------------------------------------------------------------- * - Julian's undub has been reuploaded, but at the time all links google found were dead.
